November 18, 2008 I had the pleasure on October 4 of photographing
Kathie and Greg's beautiful wedding at Stony Creek Metropark. They were blessed with a beautiful day for an outdoor fall wedding, as well as
a very supportive group of friends who helped them out on their wedding day. I also did my annual PTO fundraiser at the Collins Elementary Family Portrait Night. This is becoming somewhat of a tradition and I have a great time photographing families and often their pets too. The most
challenging photo this year was 2 adults, 2 girls, 3 dogs, 2 cats, and a gerbil, all in the same photo. I hope everyone has
a happy and safe Thanksgiving! Marina

September 30, 2008 Yet another busy month. Do things ever slow
down? On August 16 and 17 I photographed the
North Adams Farm C Show at Win-A-Gin Farms
in Oxford. This show is becoming a yearly tradition and always have a glorious time. Nancy, Darryl, Laura, Debbie, and the
rest of the gang, YOU are AWESOME! The following weekend I shot the beautiful wedding of Stephanie and Philip Bommarito on August 22. That was a PARTY! It's always fun when an Italian wedding reception starts
out with an Irish band from Canada... Never mind the lemon juggling contests in the hall lobby. My sister came into town to visit from Denmark and she has by now relocated to the Galapagos Islands
and is working as a SCUBA Diving instructor. I must admit that I am just a little bit jealous. September 13 was our first dog obedience trial at the St. Clair Kennel Club Dog Show. Gumbo, our
15 month old Rottweiler placed second in both his Novice Obedience class as well as his Novice Rally. We were very excited
to compete, let alone receive a qualifying score and a placement in our first trial ever!
September 20 and 21 I was at Win-A-Gin Farms again for the Waverly Farm Pleasure Driving Show. If you have never attended a driving show, I encourage you t take a peek at the photos. There is so much tradition and elegance
involved in this type of show. The carriages and harnesses are immaculate and are an interesting part of the horse world that
we do not get to see very often. Many thanks to Tim for having us back this year. So, yet another month in the books. Looking forward to the next!

August 15, 2008 Wow! It's been a busy month. I had the pleasure of photographing Carrie and Nicholas' wedding at Tina's Country House. I had a great time and enjoyed getting to know the families and friends of the bride and groom. I was very unfortunate to be hit by a nasty stomach bug the following day and
was unable to photograph the Metamora Pleasure driving show because of this. I was able to find a last minute replacement
photographer so this awesome show would not be without a photographer.
This weekend I will be photographing the North Adams Farm C Show at Winagin. I have been shooting this show for the last several years and have enjoyed this event tremendously. On top of having family in town from Spain, I am continuing the training of our
pup, hoping to enter our first obedience or rally trial in September.

July 12, 08 After over 48 hours of uploading files to the internet, the Waterloo Hunter and Jumper Classic photos are now available to view! Believe it or not, we actually managed to dodge the rain, and Wednesday's storms that
blew and rumbled all night started after showing was complete. I am so glad that I opted for a hotel room rather than the
tent or pop-up trailer that I was considering............. Being away from home/office for almost 2 weeks has me a little frazzled in the catching up department, though at the
same time I am feeling rested and creative also, so we take it as it comes.

June 30, 2008 We had a wonderful day Sunday, photographing the June Dressage at Copper Creek show. When we arrived in the morning it was a practical monsoon, but as soon as the first horse entered the ring, the rain
subsided to a slow drizzle, and by the third horse it had stopped raining. The photos are online. Feel free to browse through them. There were a lot of gorgeous horses at the show so it's worth taking a peak.
